Butchery for the Home Cook with SFC: Grinding Meat and Using Ground Meat

Cooking with meat you ground yourself means a big improvement in flavor. It also means you always know exactly what you’re eating! In this class, you will learn step-by-step how to choose, prep and grind a variety of meats. Then, you will transform them into the best burgers, meatballs and sausage patties you’ve ever tasted.

Sections of this class will include optional hands-on participation, so please dress for the kitchen (closed-toe shoes, comfortable clothes that can get a little dirty, hair tie for long hair, etc.). We will sample what we make, but it might not be a complete meal.

Classes are for adults. Youth ages 12 and up may attend with purchase of an additional ticket and close parent/guardian supervision during class.

Registration closes two business days before class. All attendees must purchase tickets to attend. No walk-ins allowed.
